Happy Valentines Day!
Hello everyone, and happy Valentines Day! It's been snowing this morning and it's like the perfect "winter wonderland" in my own front yard. Wherever you are today, I hope your weekend has been filled with cheesy Hallmark cards, Lindt truffles, Nicholas Sparks marathons, and those you love. Mine definitely has! So to close this blog post I would like to be the first to give you all a rose this Valentines Day. Enjoy!

To Elaborate...
Hi Everyone! I realize that yesterday's post might need an explanation so I have decided to write a post for you guys all about my family's Valentines Day traditions! Don't forget to comment below about what your family's Valentines Day traditions are, and don't forget to follow our Witness Through the Lens Instagram! Let's get started!
First I will share about the post yesterday since it is most recent on my mind. Ever since I can remember around Valentine's Day my Dad has always cut out intricate heart patterns and decorated our room with them. However he always decorates our rooms when we are gone for some reason or another so it's kind of a surprise. When I was little and my sister and I shared a room my Dad would decorate our room while we were sleeping and he would hang strings of hearts down from the ceiling and on the wall so when we woke up there would be hearts everywhere.
The other Valentines Day tradition that my family has is pancakes. But before you totally write this off as boring, know that I am not yet finished! Not only are they pancakes but they are also red and heart shaped. We sometimes have them for breakfast but usually we have them for supper so we get the whole breakfast for dinner thing. My Dad's pancakes are always amazing so it's definitely a treat!
That being said you can understand why I love Valentines day. But if you hate Valentine's Day and you are planning on watching Nicholas Sparks movies on Netflix, think about hanging out with friends and family and creating new traditions instead. Valentines Day is all about surrounding yourselves with those you love, so I would suggest doing just that and making memories that you will treasure forever. See ya' tomorrow!

Hey guys! I woke up this morning to find snow covering everything, and I decided to take a picture to show you guys! My favorite kind of snow is when it covers all of the branches on the trees. I don't know what the groundhog said yesterday but it looks like there will be plenty of snow coming our way for quite a while. If you guys missed my post yesterday, I tested a new pinterest hack! If you guys want to check that out just click the hyperlink! How's the weather where you're from? Comment below! See ya'!

Pinterest Hack!
Hey everyone! I know that I have been putting off this photography hack that you guys voted for, for quite a while. So this morning I searched and scrolled through pinterest until I finally found the photography hack that I will be showing you today. This hack is one that I have seen around a few times and I have always wanted to try. If some of you guys are interested in product photography this is for you! So without further adieu, here is the photography pinterest hack!
This hack is an easy way to find a good backdrop for your product or object of interest. All you do is you find a picture off the internet and you bring it up on your computer and you use your computer screen as the backdrop. The first thing I did was go to google images and put in the correct usage search settings for what I was doing and I set the size of the picture to large. I set the picture to be large to make sure that it will not be blurry or pixelated when it fills your screen.
When I found a picture I liked I pulled it up so it filled my whole screen. After I got it up I found a flat surface to cover the keyboard of my computer and to reflect light onto the subject of my photo. You want to make sure when you are taking the picture that your hand or the camera doesn't get in the reflection of the computer in your photo. Here is the finished product! I would say that it definitely works! Comment below if you want more posts like this, or if you have any pinterest hacks you want me to try out. See ya'!

Monday blues...
Hey everyone! Today like many other Mondays I have the Monday blues. So when I was thinking of what picture to put with this post going through things that were blue, as the observant person I am, I realized that "Hey! My eyes are blue!". So that brings me to the picture of my eye that you see before you! If it snows a lot tomorrow I will try and get that pinterest hacks post to you then. So until tomorrow, have a great day.
