            Hey everyone! It was a muggy day out today, but we still decided to run outside. The result was not the fun experience that I had been hoping for, but the yoga afterward definitely made up for it. I have been in a sort of reading drought lately, so I decided to pick up some books and movies for the week ahead. Off I go to make popcorn for the movie! See ya' tomorrow!

Black and White

         Hey everyone! Lately I've been drawing a lot and I've been seeing things in black and white and I get surprised when I look up from my sketch pad and find that color surrounds us. Just a thought to carry you through your Tuesday. Have a great rest of the afternoon! See ya' tomorrow!

Morning Light...

          Hey everyone! Unfortunately it's back to Monday, and for some of you that means back to work, but luckily that means that the rest of this week can only get better from here. Since it's summer for me, I have the luxury of not having to get up before noon except on certain days of the week, but if I'm honest I haven't been using that luxury as much I would like to. There are lots of travel plans that are floating around the house, and dates that are constantly being added to the calendar, but for the moment things are pretty laid back around here. Cone Flower

                 Hey everyone! Today I found a rebellious cone flower that was blooming earlier than any of the other cone flowers in the yard. Just a happy little tidbit I thought I'd share with you! Other than that, I'm trying to get out and do a different activity everyday do get myself active and exercising. I have tried to start these things a lot, but this time I am doing different activities with friends and I am hoping that will get me to stick to the "activity a day" regime. Hey everyone! How is your Summer so far? I guess it's not technically Summer yet but it definitely feels like it, with people blasting their music out of car windows and kids yelling and splashing in their plastic pools. We are fast approaching the due dates of photography and fine art competitions for state fairs, and it's an exciting time! I hope you guys are enjoying the weather, wherever you may be!
